Each soft gel capsule of CoQ-Care
contains: Coenzyme Q 10 …. 50 mg

Description
Coenzyme
Q10 plays an important role in the production
of chemical energy in the mitochondria and
in ATP synthesis. In general, this remarkable
compound works by converting food and supplements
(as needed)
into "packets of fuel" known as
adenosine triphosphate (ATP) that energize
cells. The body can only store very little
ATP at a time. Coenzyme Q10 helps to renew
the supply. Although our bodies have the ability
to make Coenzyme Q10, as we ingest it from
foods, certain factors deplete it: illness;
physical, mental, and emotional activity;
all forms of stress; and aging. Our body must
continually generate energy to support life
from every cell, the mitochondria. Numerous
studies mentioned here show that oral usage
of Coenzyme Q10 will restore any depleted
Coenzyme Q10 in cells and tissues through
the mitochondria, where they boost cellular
energy production and sustainability. In addition,
Coenzyme Q10 also functions as an antioxidant
which is very important in its clinical effects.
In other words, Coenzyme Q10 can prevent the
production of harmful free radicals, which
are released by cells at times of stress,
including during heart surgery |

Q10 should not take CoQ-Care
|
| |
Side
Effects
Coenzyme Q10 is well-tolerated,
and no serious adverse effects have been associated
with its use. To date, these include epigastric
discomfort (0.39%), appetite suppression (0.23%),
nausea (0.16%) and diarrhea (0.12%) No reaction

Drug
Interactions
Concomitant use of warfarin (Coumadin)
and COQ-Care supplements has been reported
to decrease the anticoagulant effect of warfarin
in at least four cases. An individual on warfarin
should not begin taking COQ-Care supplements
without consulting the health care provider
that is managing his or her anticoagulant
therapy. If warfarin and COQ-Care are to be
used concomitantly, blood tests to assess
clotting time (prothrombin time; PT/INR) should
be monitored frequently, especially in the
first two weeks
