BIOVISTA Special Employment Program

KARACHI, September 1st: BIOVISTA (Pvt.) Ltd. became the first organization in the healthcare industry in Pakistan to formally initiate a Special Employment Program, aimed at providing employment and career development opportunities to young people suffering from a physical impairment.

This program has been initiated in collaboration with the Family Education Services Foundation (FESF), a highly reputed NGO. BIOVISTA and FESF both believe in enhancing the quality of life for all the member of community specially those who are disadvantaged.
In a ceremony held at company's head office, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Mr. Irfan Sattar, CEO, and Mr. Richard from Family Education Services Foundation. During the ceremony appointment letter was also handed over to Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh, the first member of BIOVISTA Special Team. Nadecm is a young and smart graduate who is perfectly normal except for hearing impairment.
Companie’s marketing team has developed special visual-based promotional material for Nadeem, which will enable him to communicate effectively to the doctors.
During the ceremony, the officials emphasized that this is just the beginning and as the team grows, the Special Team will also grow side by side.
Mr. Richard congratulated the company for this pioneering step and hoped for the larger organizations will follow this example too, resulting in more chances of employment of special people.
