Deglycyrrhizinated licorice is a natural antacid which protects and regenerates the lining of the stomach and intestines against ulceration. What it Does

• Licorice root extract stimulates the release of Secretin, which in turn has a protective effect on the gastric mucosa by helping to rebuild the stomach or intestine's protective linin
• DGL stimulates body's defense mechanisms resulting in increase of intestinal cell life and enhanced microcirculation in the gastrointestinal lining
• It inhibits the growth of the bacterium H pylori, which has been established as a main cause of ulcers. It is a demulcent, an agent that coats and protects mucosal surfaces
• It also stimulates mucus production thereby covering the irritated tissue so that it has a chance to heal
• Ginger increases the amylase concentration and flow of saliva, activates peristalsis, and increases intestinal tone. It stimulates gastric secretions, it has been found to help reduce the swelling and bleeding of gastric ulcers, and does not appear to block the acid level of the stomach which is required for the normal digestion of proteins

Dosage and Administration

Precautions

Those who are using Warfarin and other blood thinning agents should consult with their physicians before using ForUlcer. Pregnant & Nursing mothers should avoid the use of ForUlcer, as there is lack of scientific safety data in this population

Side Effects

Headache and muscle pain are rare minor side effects. No major side effects were observed with ForUlcer use during clinical trials
